Ride-hailing is swiftly becoming more sustainable, with Uber launching a range of features as part of its mission to become a zero-emissions company by 2040. Uber Green is set to be fully electric in over 40 markets globally over the next few months. Up until now, London has been the only destination where Uber Green is completely electric, with other cities offering a mix of hybrid and electric vehicles. A new app feature will also allow users to set their preference to Uber Green, automatically connecting them to an electric vehicle upon starting a trip.
