The most expensive cities for rent in 2024

The Mercer Cost of Living ranking saw volatility in housing costs this year. Istanbul saw rental prices triple, while costs increased by 21% in Miami and New Delhi. The top ten priciest cities include two in the US, four in Switzerland, plus London in the UK. Of these, only one saw no change in rental prices: Nassau in the Bahamas (see page 54 for more).
