NEW YORK THE ST. REGIS New York celebrates its 120th anniversary with a renovation of its public spaces, including the lobby and the famed King Cole Bar, plus two new dining venues. The acclaimed Champalimaud Design firm is behind the restoration, which brings contemporary features to the property while staying true to the beautiful original Beaux-Arts architecture. BARCELONA THE FIRST hotel under Marriott's Moxy brand in Spain opened last month within Barcelona's Sants neighbourhood, complete with 414 rooms, ceramic mosaics, murals by local artists and a rooftop with a swimming pool and forthcoming restaurant and bar. Moxy is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, with the first hotel having opened next to Milan's Malpensa airport in 2014.
