Hotel Indigo debuts in Tokyo

IHG HOTELS AND RESORTS has opened its fourth property in Japan under the Hotel Indigo brand, located in Tokyo. The 272-room Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya is located within walking distance of the famous pedestrian crossing, Shibuya Scramble, with linear design features in the public spaces nodding to the landmark. The hotel's design is themed around “kaleidoscopic urban jungle”, with fashion-led artworks throughout the 12th floor reception adorned with denim and leather motifs. Rooms include a selection of vinyl records, reflecting the music culture in Shibuya, and have views of Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji on a clear day. Dining spaces include Gallery 11, which offers Mediterranean-Japanese fusion cuisine and walls adorned with artworks, and coffee shop Shibrewya.
