BACKGROUND Opened in December 2020, The Hari Hong Kong is one of the city’s newest luxury properties. It’s the 16th property managed by the Harilela Group, but only the second of the group’s own brand, joining its sister property The Hari London, which opened in Belgravia in 2016. WHAT’S IT LIKE? After entering at street level, an elevator to the first floor arrives at The Lounge. Lined with timber bookshelves and dotted with artworks, it’s an inviting space shared by people checking-in, chinking Champagne flutes and attending the latest exhibition. WHERE IS IT? Situated on Lockhart Road, the hotel sits between the busy Wan Chai and Causeway Bay districts, just a 15-minute walk to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and Happy Valley Racecourse.
