EASYJET HAS PARTNERED with start-up Sustainaholics to stock its Alumini bottles, crafted from 100 per cent post-consumer recycled aluminium. The Alumini bottles were launched in June 2023, and weigh just 60g when filled with a spirit, compared to 136g in a glass bottle. Easyjet will serve spirits from UK-based brands including Two Drifters, Ellers Farm Distillery, Penrhos Spirits and Wildjac on routes operated by its A321 fleet from Gatwick and Bristol airports. Simon Cox, director of inflight retail at Easyjet, said: “We are delighted to be offering our customers even more choice and variety as we welcome a variety of UK-based spirits affiliated with Sustainaholics to our drinks trolley, while collaborating with a brand that aligns with our approach when it comes to sustainability and innovation.”…
