Floating on air Photo London 2023 marked the eighth edition of this photography fair in May. Held at Somerset House, it brought together more than 110 exhibitors from 55 cities. International photography dealers and galleries participated in the event, with themes ranging from the socio-political to the musical. Among these was Homecoming Gallery, which exhibits contemporary images by rising stars. This bright and joyful image, entitled “Out Red”, was taken by Derrick Ofosu Boateng in Accra, Ghana. The self-taught snapper grew up taking photos on his father's iPhone and his colourful portraits aim to challenge perceptions of Africa, showing the positivity and strength of Ghanaian life. photolondon.org…
