QANTAS LAUNCHES NONSTOP FLIGHTS FROM AUCKLAND TO NEW YORK JFK

QANTAS will launch nonstop flights between Auckland and New York JFK in June. The new route will initially be operating three-times-weekly using B787 Dreamliner aircraft. It will form part of a revamped Sydney-New York service, which will have been on hiatus for some three years by the time it resumes. The route had previously flown via Honolulu, but will now stop in Auckland before continuing on for a nonstop, 16-hour flight to New York. The flight will depart New Zealand on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flight QF3 will depart Auckland at 1700, arriving into New York at 1715 the same day. The return leg QF4 will depart New York at 1930, arriving into Auckland at 0500 two days later.…
