INTERCONTINENTAL SHANGHAI WONDERLAND Taking nearly ten years and about US$500 million to develop, the new Intercontinental Shanghai Wonderland finally opened its doors last month. Situated inside a former quarry in southwestern Shanghai about 30 minutes’ drive from Hongqiao Airport, the lowest section is located some 80 metres below ground level.
