New routes and resumptions for Qatar Airways

QATAR AIRWAYS HAS announced a raft of new routes, service resumptions and frequency increases. Seven new destinations for this year include Chittagong (Bangladesh), Juba (South Sudan), Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo), Medan (Indonesia), Trabzon (Turkey), Lyon and Toulouse. The airline will also resume flights to 11 destinations including Beijing, Birmingham, Nice and Tokyo Haneda, and will increase flight frequency to Gatwick and Heathrow. Group CEO Akbar Al Baker also told Business Traveller that he expects the airline's route to Cardiff to resume this year, dependent on the speed of the repair project of the carrier's A350 aircraft.…
