Reading through various travel industry surveys that have been undertaken since the start of what everyone hopes will be a ‘comeback' year, it seems clear that cautious optimism is the current sentiment for the majority. The consensus is that corporate travel will return steadily to pre-Covid levels by the end of 2023 to mid-2024, despite higher airfares and room rates.
That's good news for everyone in the industry – it shows either confidence in economic growth in the near future, or a determination to rebound from the travails of the last three years, re-establish business contacts and partnerships, and drive global connectivity once more.
