AIR FRANCE-KLM, DELTA AND VIRGIN ATLANTIC SEAL THE DEAL

KLM, AIR FRANCE, DELTA AIR LINES AND VIRGIN ATLANTIC have launched their long-awaited joint venture. The agreement covers 110 nonstop routes and represents 23 per cent of total transatlantic passenger capacity. Frequent flyer members can earn and use miles, and get elite benefits for flights on any of the four airlines’ worldwide route networks. Passengers can also now book flights, check in and select seats with any of the carriers through the airlines’ respective apps. The group said it would work towards “ensuring a smooth and consistent travel experience”, with flight schedules altered to reduce connection times.…
