▶ Cassius Khan BC History (BCH) When and where were you born? Cassius Khan I was born in Lautoka City, in the Fiji Islands, on June 7, 1974, and came to Canada when I was four months old. BCH What is your connection to BC? CK My wife, Amika, and I live in the city of New Westminster and have since 2008. Our city has been extremely kind and supportive to our music and our contributions. BCH Are you the only person who can sing and play tabla at the same time? CK I am a unique artist who sings ghazal, a form of romantic and sad poetry coupled to the nuances of classical Hindustani music.
