TEN TRINITY SQUARE Close to illustrious neighbours such as the Tower of London and St. Paul’s Cathedral, Ten Trinity Square has been a riverside landmark since its construction in 1922. Now home to the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square, it was originally built as the headquarters of the Port of London Authority, designed by renowned architect Sir Edwin Cooper. It was built in the Beaux-Arts style, with a magnificent facade including a sculpture of Old Father Thames holding his trident and pointing east, paying homage to the trade between nations. More than 1,200 people each day came to its central rotunda topped with a glass dome to pay port dues for boats arriving in London. You can still admire the beautiful original rotunda as you take afternoon tea.…
