Zoë Readhead, 75, hat sich für unser Telefongespräch in den Schulgarten verzogen. Es ist kalt in Leiston an der englischen Ostküste. Aber das macht der schmalen Britin mit dem kurzen braunen Strubbelkopf nichts aus. „Ich war schon immer ein Draußen-Mädchen“, sagt die Tochter von A. S. Neill, der vor 100 Jahren das Internat Summerhill gründete, dessen Leiterin sie heute ist. Das antiautoritäre Konzept Neills wird bis heute fortgeführt. In einer Versammlung legen Kinder zum Beispiel per Abstimmung fest, wie sie im Internat leben wollen.
