Mr Khan applied last October for consent to change the use of the home in Stonor Park Road from a C3a dwelling house to a C2 residential children's home for up to two children, with a manager and two carers, who would sleep there overnight, working on a rota basis.
But during a consultation, held in November, 10 neighbours flooded planners with objections including fears over the traffic and parking impact; concerns over future expansion and that it would set a precedent for future house of multiple occupations (HMO) in the area.
