Stephen Sterry, of Imingham, East Lincolnshire, carried out a series of indecent assaults on girls in the town 'a number of years ago'.
A victim came forward in 2019 prompting Staffordshire Police to launch an investigation into the 63-year-old.
Sterry stood trial at Stafford Crown Court and was found guilty by a jury of 11 counts of indecent assault, which involved attacks on several girls, on March 7.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "A man has been convicted of 11 counts of child sexual offences in Staffordshire.
"Stephen Sterry, 63, of Imingham, East Lincolnshire, was found guilty by a jury following a trial at Stafford Crown Court of 11 counts of indecent assault of a girl.
"The historic offences happened a number of years ago in Tamworth.
