PHOTO OPS We travel to Monterey, Virginia, twice a year to photograph birds. We like to feed them while we are there, so we bought a few pumpkins and set them up on the fence posts with some birdseed. A titmouse buzzed by this chickadee and caused it to fluff its wings up. This scrub-jay was no exception, greedily grabbing unattended peanuts, even from the inside of a watering can.
