The new year is always a bit of a psychological watershed; a time to reflect on the previous year and make plans for the year just started. For me, this means looking back on the photographs I have taken, the lessons I've learned, and planning the direction I'd like to explore with my photography over the coming months. I don't see photography as something I can ever say I've mastered. Like all art forms, there is always something new to learn, avenues to explore, and ‘improvements’ to be made.
