Landstræner for håndboldkvinderne Jesper Jensen har været nødsaget til at melde afbud til landsholdets Golden League-kampe mod Holland. Årsagen er, at han har prioriteret at være hos sin familie i en svær tid. Jesper Jensens hustru Lotte Haandbæk er efter en operation i knæet blevet ramt af flere blodpropper i benet. Det meddelte DanskHåndbold i en pressemeddelelse torsdag den 27. februar. Blodpropperne krævede, at hun gennemgik en ny og større operation, der også indebar, at hun blev indlagt på hospitalet i en rum tid. – Jeg er virkelig ærgerlig over, at jeg ikke kan være med på landsholdssamlingen og til kampene i Holland.
