Mandag 17. marts er Irlands nationaldag kaldet St. Patricks dag, som altid bliver fejret i stor stil. Prinsesse Kate repræsenterede det britiske kongehus, da hun mødte op til den festlige parade i kasernen Wellington Barracks i London, hvor irske gardere, veteraner, unge kadetter og soldater var samlet for at fejre dagen. 43-årige prinsesse Kate gik på grund af sin kræftsygdom glip af fejringen sidste år. Det var derfor senest i 2023, at prinsesse Kate deltog i den traditionsrige parade, der finder sted hvert år. Blandt de mange gardere var der en helt særlig deltager, der stjal hendes opmærksomhed. Nemlig gardernes firbenede maskot Turlough Mor, der er en irsk ulvehund, og som Kate også hilste på i 2022 og 2023. Da prinsesse Kate fik lov at hilse på maskotten, lyste hun…
