Håndboldherrernes dygtige stregspiller Simon Hald blev far til en søn kort inden VM. Sønnen er dermed knap en måned gammel, nu hvor Simon Hald sammen med resten af håndboldherrerne spiller VM. Derfor har Simon Hald fået en helt særlig tilladelse under slutrunden. Det fortæller han til TV 2 Nord. – Vi prøver med noget Facetime, det gør lidt op for det. Så kommer min kæreste Sif og hendes mor også ned her lidt senere i et sommerhus ikke så langt herfra (Herning, red.). Så kan jeg køre ud en gang i mellem og se den bette, forklarer Simon Hald. 30-årige Simon Hald kan glæde sig over, at Danmark spiller alle sine gruppekampe samt kampe i mellemrunden i Herning, hvilket betyder at familien i store dele af turneringen er tæt på.…
