Kongehuset bekræfter overfor BILLED-BLADET, at dronning Mary har været på besøg hos sin australske familie.

Dronning Mary har altid været tæt knyttet til sin australske familie og været god til at holde kontakten ved også jævnligt at besøge dem i sit fødeland Australien, hvor de stadig er bosiddende. I forbindelse med hendes og kong Frederiks yngste børns nylige vinterferie benyttede dronningen muligheden for igen at se nogle af sine allernærmeste. Således spurgte BILLED-BLADET efter flere mediers artikler om, at dronningen var blevet set på Tasmanien, kongehuset om rigtigheden i det. Til det svarede kongehusets kommunikationsafdeling: ”Kongehuset bekræfter, at dronning Mary har været på et planlagt kortvarigt familiebesøg”. Det ser ud til, at det er sket i forlængelse af kongefamiliens skiferie i børnenes vinterferie i uge 7. Kongefamilien har en fast tradition med at tage på skiferie i Verbier i Schweiz, og kongehuset har tidligere bekræftet…
