The Saviors tour fuels the tenured rock band’s first-ever No. 1 on the monthly Boxscore ranking

ACROSS 12 SHOWS IN September — 11 of which occurred at stadiums, along with an amphitheater date in Austin — Green Day sold 415,000 tickets at an average price of $114.71 for combined earnings of $47.5 million, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore. The total makes the California rock trio’s Saviors tour the ruler of Billboard’s monthly Top Tours ranking. The Saviors tour began in June with a $33.8 million run in Europe before departing to North America for a 26-city leg through the United States and Canada.
