Triumph Bobber by Fred ‘Krugger’ Bertrand » Fred Krugger has mastered a most difficult balancing act. Belgium’s finest builder has won several trophies at bling-fests such as the AMD World Championship, but he’s also one of the darlings of the alt.moto scene. This custom bobber, commissioned by Triumph Benelux, straddles these two worlds. It’s sleek and slammed, with lowered suspension, a rigid rear end and a subtly repositioned fuel tank. Power is up too, mostly due to the straight-through exhaust system with hefty 53mm pipes. But it’s the little details that lift Krugger’s work into the stratosphere: on ‘Bobber Basse-Bodeux’ the Dunlop Sportmax tyres have been resurfaced, and the Krugger logo is discreetly embossed into the rubber. 1960s style scrambler by Mule Motorcycles » The king of high-performance road-burning trackers in the States is Richard Pollock.…
