Here’s how to work treble increases or decreases at the start of a row

When you’re shaping trebles, the turning chain can complicate things. At the end of a row, it’s neater to work a plain treble in the top of the t-ch, so work any shaping before you reach the last stitch. To shape at the start of a row, work the t-ch and skip the stitch at the base of the t-ch, as usual. Then work the increase into the top of the next stitch on the row below, or work a tr2tog stitch over the next two stitches. Or follow your pattern instructions.…
