You can also change colour in the round by using the slip stitch technique. This method is best for dense motifs and works by using the new yarn to join the round together. After working the last stitch of a round, insert hook into the first stitch of the round (either the first dc or the top of the t-ch). Loop the new yarn around the hook, leaving a long tail 1.
