HOW TO CHANGE STITCH COLOUR

Use the same technique to change colour anywhere on a row

You can use the above technique to change the colour of rows, rounds or individual stitches. No matter which stitch you’re working, the principle is the same: join in the new colour on the final yrh of a stitch, so that the next stitch will be in the new colour. For double crochet (shown right), you would insert hook, yrh, pull loop through and stop. Then pull a loop of the new colour through the two loops, ready to work the next stitch.
