SUMMER TREATS

Strawberries are in season. Here are two cold homemade treats to cool down the family this summer!

STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM INGREDIENTS 500g hulled frozen strawberries75g icing sugar125ml double cream HOW TO MAKE 1. Place the all the ingredients into a food processor. Pulse until berries are broken down, and then blitz until the mixture is smooth. 2. Either serve straight away or transfer to a freezer-proof tub to freeze and when required allow the ice cream to soften at room temperature before serving. GROWN-UP STRAWBERRY ICE LOLLIES INGREDIENTS 400g hulled strawberries200ml ProseccoIce lolly moulds and sticks TIP: if you don’t have any ice-lolly moulds, you can make in yoghurt pots and just add sticks! HOW TO MAKE 1. Using a blender, puree the hulled strawberries. 2. Pour in the Prosecoo, and stir it all together. 3. Pour the mixture into an ice-lolly mould and add the sticks.…
