Magwyd ALAW EDWARDS yn Llangwm a bu’n byw am gyfnodau yn Aberystwyth a Phennal ger Machynlleth. Bu’n astudio’r Gymraeg ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth ac arhosodd i wneud ymchwil a doethuriaeth. Symudodd yn ol i’r gogledd tua phum mlynedd yn ol ac ymgartrefu yng Nghwm Main rhwng y Bala a Chorwen, ardal a gysylltir a’r beirdd Geraint a Gerallt Lloyd Owen. Mae Alaw yn fam i ddau o blant, sef Liwsi Glwys, chwech oed, a Nedw Lleu sy’n flwydd a hanner, ac mae hi’n briod a Tristan. Mae barddoniaeth wedi bod yn rhan o fy mywyd i ers cyn cof.
