Westbourne launches driver initiative for JSCC finalists

JUNIOR SALOONS Leading Junior Saloon Car Championship squad Westbourne Motorsport has launched a driver development programme to support three defeated finalists from the category’s scholarship day. While Scottish karter Chloe Grant won the fully funded seat and made her car racing debut at Cadwell Park last month, Jack Meakin, Will Redford and Harvey Dent will all now benefit from extensive coaching before joining the JSCC grid later in the season with subsidised drives from Westbourne. “I was really impressed with the standard of competitor at the JSCC scholarship day,” said Westbourne boss Richard Colburn. “Whilst the prize went to a very worthy winner, this still left three exceptional drivers without a race seat for 2021.
