RHD key to Polestar growth

NEW Swedish performance brand Polestar will rapidly expand its product line-up, promising that three brandnew models will be on sale within the next four years and that right-hand-drive cars will appear in the UK. The £115,000 Polestar 1 (above) will launch in early 2019, but will only be offered in left-hand drive and in limited numbers. Speaking at the launch of the debut model, chief operating officer Jonathan Goodman told us: “We’ll also show our second model, Polestar 2, that year [2019]. Polestar 3 will come a year later.” Reassuringly for UK buyers, Goodman confirmed that Polestars 2 and 3 would be available in right-hand drive. “The UK will be a massively important market for Polestar,” Goodman explained to Auto Express.
