AN all-new Grandland has just been unveiled, but the outgoing model leaves with its head held high and a mid-table ranking in our 2024 survey. Notching up 23rd place this year is quite an achievement, because last year the Grandland managed just 52nd out of 75, having come 24th in 2022, seventh in 2021 and 69th in 2020. It’s fair to say that it isn’t the most consistent performer in our Driver Power surveys… Despite its age, this year the smart Vauxhall SUV nets strong results in most categories, ranging from 13th for powertrains to 42nd for the visibility of the touchscreen displays and the user-friendliness of the switchgear.
