The i30N received a significant update in mid 2021, designed to sharpen its performance credentials and, at the same time, make it more appealing to a wider audience. An eight-speed dual clutch automatic option is now offered in the base model, at $49,200, alongside the six-speed manual, which costs $46,200. Premium manual is $49,200, or $53,700 with DCT. Premium sedan is $50,200 with either the manual or DCT transmissions. The 2.0-litre turbo now produces 206kW of power and 392Nm of torque, increases of 4kW and 39Nm, in large part thanks to a bigger turbo.
