BMW’s first built from the ground-up electric SUV, the iX, fits between the X5 and X6, so it’s a big unit. Despite its proportions, this is a five-seater only. Out of the box, the BMW has the driving range to challenge Tesla and the luxury to rival Porsche. The iX xDrive40, priced at $135,900, and Sport, priced at $141,900, have a 76.6kWh battery pack (with 71.0kWh of usable capacity), while iX xDrive50, priced at $174,900, has a 112kWh battery pack (with 105.2kWh of usable capacity). At the top of the lineup, the M60, with 455kW and 1100Nm, is priced at $222,900. It takes just 3.8 seconds to reach 100km/h and its 112kWh battery has a claimed range of up to 566km.
