There are five models in the Outlander line-up – ES, LS, Aspire, Exceed, and Exceed Tourer – with a mix of five- or seven-seats and front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. Prices start at $37,740 for the base ES front-wheel drive five-seater and top out at $55,190 for the Exceed Tourer AWD seven-seater. All variants are powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and eight-step CVT auto developed with new partner Nissan. The plug-in hybrid Outlander, with a claimed EV range of up to 84km, and an exceptionally optimistic claimed fuel consumption of just 1.5L/100km, starts at $57,290 for the ES five seater and runs to $71,790 for the Exceed Tourer seven seater.
