The CX-60 is a mid-sized SUV that kicks off at $60,400 plus on-road costs for the Evolve G40E, with a new 209kW/450Nm 3.3-litre inline six-cylinder turbopetrol engine. Grab the 187kW/550Nm D50E turbodiesel (of the same straight six configuration) and it’s another $2000. Or there’s a plug-in hybrid EV (P50E) that’s almost $11,000 more again (from $72,200). For that you get fake leather, dual-zone ventilation, digital instruments, 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, wireless phone charging and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto on a 10.25-inch screen. It’s an $8000 jump to the GT, which adds 20-inch wheels, powered front seats, heated steering wheel, heated seats and a Bose sound system.
