The BYD Seal is a mid-sized electric sedan designed to take the fight to the popular Tesla Model 3. Priced from $49,888 for the entry-level Dynamic, it also comes loaded with gear including 18-inch alloy wheels, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, powered, heated and ventilated front seats, dual wireless phone chargers a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 15.6-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. That central screen rotates 90 degrees, too, allowing you to choose between a landscape or portrait configuration. It’s a neat trick to show friends, but in everyday driving it’s less useful.
