Ex-Peter Brock cars always grab attention and, more often than not, his former Holden Dealer Team cars are the ones that really make people sit up and notice. His time between the end of HDT and driving for the Holden Racing Team in 1994 saw him race BMWs, Ford Sierras and privateer Commodores, all backed by Mobil, with varying levels of success. Excitingly, the last car he raced prior to returning to the factory fold with HRT has returned to Australia. The Advantage Racing Commodore VP he drove in 1993 is now back in its country of origin after the best part of two decades in New Zealand.
