You play as a demon trying to save a power plant, by killing the ghouls that have set up shop in its reactors – er, forget what I just said about that simple premise. But it’s just an excuse to fill stages with toxic blobs and generators – destroy all these and the stage’s boss ghoul will be unleashed. It’s a hard game, with no difficulty concessions on that lavish game menu, but you can always dodge the spawning blobs if you’re quick enough.
