Previously, you could use this to find names, words and phrases in books in your library, but you had to scroll manually to the pages they appeared on. Now you can jump directly to matches by right-clicking a result and choosing ‘Open this book at this search result’ (see screenshot). This opens the book at the relevant page in Calibre’s ‘E-book viewer’, with the matching passage highlighted. To launch full-text search, click the FT icon in the search box on Calibre’s home screen.
