LABS PRICE $1,499 WEB www.netgear.com/ It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything from Netgear, but the company has now sent us its latest, three-node mesh system. The last one we saw was very expensive but also very fast. At a time when Wi-Fi speed is increasing almost exponentially, we were hoping for great things. There are three nodes in the Orbi 960 kit. They all look identical but for the primary node’s additional 10GbE WAN port. They all have a 2.5GbE LAN port and three, additional 1GbE LAN ports. Set-up was simple thanks to the Orbi mobile app and its scanning of a QR code on the base. From there we were invited to set-up the primary WLAN name and password and were given the option to do likewise…
