From the front lines of the Australian PC market Nvidia’s hotly anticipated RTX 5000 series of graphics cards finally broke cover recently, and hit store shelves only to near instantly sell out. While not uncommon for new graphics cards, the extent of what’s happening seems unprecedented or at the very least as bad as what happened during COVID. Except back then it was all about demand out-stripping supply, currently, it’s obviously supply not being high enough at launch with many questioning if this was a paper launch. New graphics cards will always have early adopters jumping on board to buy them, but with the RTX 5090 so far having the only real performance bump over the previous generation, you’d think the RTX 5080 would have far less demand given that…
