Into it has launched Asus’ RT-BE92U – a premium domestic device that’s targeted at power users, with smart homes, that demand performance, features, security and multiple-network segregation. We’ve seen all this before on expensive models but, on one that costs around $400? Could this be the sweet-spot router we’ve been waiting for? The first thing to note is that this is one of the better-looking routers: it’s not a giant, mecha-space spider, nor is it a simple white tube. It’s got some geometric design flourishes, a smart, red stripe and it doesn’t take up much desk space. It also comes with a wall-mounting bracket.
