A bang for buck GPU that delivers big performance for budget-conscious gamers.

PRICE $479 WEB intel.com Intel isn’t a big player in the discrete GPU market but, nevertheless, the recently launched Arc B580 makes key design choices that have resulted in a new favourite in the budget gaming segment. Priced from around $449, the B580 delivers impressive 1080p and 1440p performance, outclassing similarly priced alternatives from Nvidia and AMD. The B580 features a dual-slot, 272 mm long design with a single 8-pin power connector, a twin-fan cooler and the ability to drive 4 monitors. Despite a 17% reduction in compute units compared to the older Intel A580, and a 10% decrease in transistor count overall, the higher 2850MHz boost clock and increased efficiency means the B580 gives noticeably better performance.
