1 CHECK OUT AN APP’S INTERNET NEEDS Any app on your computer (or other device) that needs access to the Internet should make it clear what you need to do in order to open up access to it. You should start by looking into the program’s own settings to find out where you determine which ports it requires and the steps you need to follow to make it work. 2 SET STATIC IP ADDRESS If you’ve not already done so, you’ll need to set up a static IP address for the device that is running the application.
