“We have taken a massive hit and have had to sell pretty much all the GPU stock we had on hand over the last couple of weeks at well below what we bought it for, which has significantly reduced margins (and often made them negative). Fortunately, we are through that phase now and are now buying GPUs at the new norm of wholesale pricing, however, margins are now much slimmer than they were.
We did have quite a few customers who bought just prior to the drop reach out to us and in most cases we provided them with free upgrades (out of our own pocket) to make up the price drop difference and keep them happy.”…
