The problem with trying to do something surreptitiously is that it risks drawing more attention to your actions, like struggling to change into your swimming trunks under a beach towel – which in my experience can attract a crowd of amused spectators.
This is partly why I don’t use Tor Browser (www.torproject.org/download) more often, despite its many privacy benefits. Aside from using a VPN, it’s the most reliable way to stay anonymous online, because it not only hides your IP address and web activities, but adds extra layers of protection by routing your internet connection through a circuit of ‘relay nodes’.
