Aorus’ 3rd-Gen QD-OLED gaming monitor seeks to justify its price tag.

LABS PRICE $2,199 WEB www.aorus.com/en-au We recently reviewed the massive, 49-inch, ultra-wide Aorus CO49DQ which was a few-frills gaming monitor that impressed us with its performance and value albeit in a super-premium market. Now, here’s its smaller sibling, the 32-inch Aorus FO32U2P “Tactical” gaming monitor which has a faster, third-gen Samsung QD-OLED panel, additional features plus new, DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity. Will it be similarly attractive? First up, it’s worth noting that there’s very little benefit from having DP 2.1 right now. Only AMD’s top-end cards support it and there’s practically no real-world difference compared to DP 1.4 anyway. Still, it may be good for future proofing.
