Puzzle Bobble is my favourite match-three game, so it’s great to find an indie game that builds on the concept, adding further ingredients to the formula until it’s popping with freshness once again. Balloon Jerks has you playing as a couple of pigs whose balloon-bursting fun is ruined by annoying wolves. As you punt balloons up into the screen, clearing clutches, the wolves will add to the mess by floating upwards on their own balloons. There’s an adorable animation as they deposit the balloon and then parachute to the ground, and an even cuter one when you interrupt their fun by shooting them out of the sky.
